O Nascer do Sol, the Portuguese newspaper more commonly referred to as “Sol,” recently reported that the mystery surrounding why Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, visited Portugal earlier this month was that he had discovered the charm of Portugal and is on the search for real estate in the country.
It was reported that Musk landed in a private jet at Tires Aerodrome, close to Lisbon and Cascais, on 4 July with his son for a few -days visit. Nascer do Sol has stated that following the Tesla owner’s visit, Musk left a representative in the country after his trip with the task of finding a house to buy. The prospecting of properties seems to be being carried out discreetly, notably as Musk wants to avoid harassment inside and outside of Portugal and is looking to minimize attention.
