According to reports from Marca, a Spanish Newspaper, the football superstar tried to buy a plot of land adjacent to his property and create better seclusion for his family. But when the owners refused to sell, the couple was pushed to place their luxury mansion on the market.

Christiano Ronaldo bought a penthouse in Lisbon in 2019 for about €7.2 million. This is one of the most expensive and luxurious penthouses in the city.
